Cheap beer in SoHo
SoHo's bars mostly serve the shopping and gallery traffic above them, which means restaurant bars, hotel rooms, and a couple of long-standing pubs rather than a neighborhood dive scene. The range on this page climbs steeply — the floor is set by the two or three older bars on the edges, and the top by the rooftops. Happy hour is thin on the ground but generous where it exists: the handful of bars that publish one tend to run it seven days rather than weekdays, and at least one carries a late-night window that runs past midnight on weekends.
