Cheap beer in NoHo
NoHo is a handful of blocks between Astor Place and Houston, and the bar list reflects that: a short page, weighted toward natural-wine rooms and cocktail bars, with one or two old holdouts keeping the bottom of the range low. Beer is not the point at most of these places, and the tap lists are short. Happy hour barely exists as a neighborhood pattern — where it does, the shape is a couple of dollars off drafts in the early evening rather than a headline beer price, so it is worth reading the note on each card.
