Cheap beer in Fort Greene

Fort Greene drinks around the BAM blocks and DeKalb Avenue, and the bars lean toward restaurant bars, a German beer hall, and a brewery taproom rather than dives — which puts the floor of this range higher than the Brooklyn neighborhoods to its east. It is a pre-show and post-dinner neighborhood more than a late one. Happy hour is well represented for a list this short, running weekday late-afternoon and often ending at six or six-thirty rather than seven, which is earlier than the borough norm and worth timing around.

10 priced bars tracked · lowest listed price $5.00 · middle listed price $7.00 · 5 with published happy-hour details. These prices are a starting point, not identical-pour comparisons: a listing may be a can, bottle, or draft. Check the note and source before traveling, especially for a time-limited special.
