Cheap beer in Flatiron

Flatiron is the most expensive floor of any neighborhood on this site: not one bar in this list has a beer under the price that would count as ordinary in Brooklyn, and the range runs from that floor up into rooftop and hotel-lounge territory. The bars are largely attached to restaurants, cocktail rooms, and the older taverns around the park. Published happy hours are almost absent — a single window in the whole neighborhood, and an early-afternoon one at that — which makes Flatiron a place where the listed price is genuinely the price.

15 priced bars tracked · lowest listed price $7.00 · middle listed price $10.00 · 1 with published happy-hour details. These prices are a starting point, not identical-pour comparisons: a listing may be a can, bottle, or draft. Check the note and source before traveling, especially for a time-limited special.

The Lobby Bar at The New York EDITION

$12.00

5 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10010, USA

Cheapest regularly-available beers on the current (July 2026) official Lobby Bar Signature Menu are Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Brooklyn East Side IPA, both listed at $12 (no size stated on this version of the menu. Earlier versions listed 330ml bottles). Saltfields Brewing Craft Rice Lager is $14, and a non-alcoholic BERO Kingston Golden Pils is $11 but was excluded from the regular-beer price since it is non-alcoholic. Two older PDF menus from the same domain conflict: a Summer 2022 menu also priced Peroni at $12 (with Blue Point Toasted Lager $12 and Ithaca Flower Power IPA $13), while a November 2023 menu priced all bottled beers flat at $17 (EDITION Lioness Session IPA, Tiger, Peroni, Lion Brewery Straits Pale Ale, Crust Breaking Bread Ale, all 325-330ml). The July 2026 menu is the one currently linked live from the official Lobby Bar page as of this research (2026-08-14), so it was treated as authoritative per the 'prefer most recent' rule.
