Cheap beer in Bushwick
Bushwick is the neighborhood where a cheap beer is still the default rather than a find. The bars along Wyckoff, Knickerbocker, and the Myrtle-Broadway blocks are mostly small rooms with backyards, pool tables, and long late hours, and the price range is compressed near the bottom — the gap between the cheapest and the middle of this list is smaller than in almost any Manhattan neighborhood. Happy hour here breaks the citywide pattern in two ways: a large share of these bars run one every day of the week rather than Monday to Friday, and the windows are long, several stretching four or five hours.
